2017 Colle Corviano Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Inky black core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Ripe black cherry and liquorice scents meld into earthy incense and spicy dried herb notes. Juicy dark plum, ripe cherry and liquorice flavours compete with some prominent vanillin oak, lightly toasted earth and spice. Dry chewy finish with sturdy tannins playing their part. Medium length aftertaste with the vanillin oak prevailing over the juicy fruit.
