2017 Caves D'Esclans Whispering Angel Rose

Made from a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre, Whispering Angel is one of Provence’s leading producers of Rose and after tasting this wine it’s easy to see why.

Translucent pale salmon pink colour with a watery hue. Intense scents of lightly spiced peaches, strawberries and raspberries rise from the glass over light musk and cobble stone like notes. Delicious peach, strawberry and raspberry flavours show terrific intensity underscored by musk and wet stone elements. A beautifully rounded, sensual textural feel gives the palate a sense of suppleness, finishing dry with refreshing acidity. Long aftertaste of peaches, raspberries, strawberries, light musk and wet stone.
