2017 Bowen Estate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon - Last Stock

Impenetrable pitch black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Elevated ripe blackcurrant and subtle liquorice aromas are overlaid with a hint of bay leaf followed by vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spice notes. Medium bodied and showing more freshness and elegance than recent vintages, the palate features bright red to black currant and red cherry fruit subtlety infused with bay leaf. Light earth, vanillin cedar and spice elements ensue. Finishes with a lick of vibrant almost crunchy like acidity, fine structured tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
