2017 Atze's Corner Boehm's Black Shiraz

Totally impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and black cherries are trailed by toasty vanillin oak, hints of mocha, earth and spice. Full bodied, rich and voluptuous flavours of blackberry and liquorice caress the palate with a plush feel. Some prominent toasty vanillin oak then moves in with earthy mocha and spice also evident. Velvety tannins with a long opulent aftertaste. The toasty vanillin oak a little too strong on the finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
