Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and blackberry meet up with clove and smoky earth followed by blackpepper end notes. Medium weighted the palate is flooded with rich, liquorice, blackberry and dark cherry fruits which are underpinned by smoky earth, subtle spicy leather and blackpepper characters. Bright acidity and sturdy yet fine grained tannins lead into a long vibrant finish.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14.3%

Other Reviews….
A selection of barrels from single vineyards that create synergy, the prime aim to create a wine for early of medium-term consumption. In absolute terms, it's not nearly as good as Kiss, but it still carries the '17 badge of honour, to be worn for as long as you wish. Drink by 2032.
