2016 Zonte's Footstep Lake Doctor Shiraz

Impenetrable black core with a deep dark red black hue. Nosing reveals a combination of dark plum and liquorice aromatics which intermingle with spicy Morello cherry and dried herb notes. Rich and velvety in its feel the palate is filled with ripe dark plum, liquorice and dark cherry flavours which sit over vanillin cedar and a bed of spicy dried herbs and mint. Firms up a touch on the finish with a sturdy tannin structure. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste.
