Bottle
$683.88 Dozen
Cellar: Drink now - 6 Years (2020-2026)
ABV: 13%

Brilliant pale straw colour with distinctive reflections of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Intense white peach, nectarine and dried honey scents are married to biscuity barrel ferment characters, citrus and notions of gun flint. Rich with a round creamy mid palate feel yet at the same time fresh and vibrant, the mouth is filled with fleshy peach, nectarine and dried honey fruit which is underscored by lightly toasted biscuity oak and subtle citrusy nougat elements. Finishes dry and flinty with good fresh acidity. Excellent length with a long refined conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13%

Other Reviews….
Hand-picked fruit, destemmed and crushed aged in French barrels (30% new) for 11 months with 30% mlf. Always a flavoursome, fuller-bodied chardonnay with stone fruit, figs and leesy, creamy notes. Yet it keeps a well-formed frame with bright acidity helping. 252 dozen and released in Oct '18 as with the other whites of the same vintage. Drink by 2024.
