2016 Willow Bridge Estate G1-10 Chardonnay

Matured on lees for 9 months in a mixture of new and 1 year old French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with light greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peaches and nectarines run into some dried honey with underlying biscuity oak, creamy cashew and spicy nougat notes. Well rounded the medium weighted palate possesses flavours of fresh white peaches and nectarines over delicate dried honey infusions and spicy cashew with a lively finish and bright acidity. Aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, subtle dried honey, cashew and spice.
