2016 Wignalls Single Vineyard Premium Chardonnay

Matured in new and seasoned French oak with lees contact for 9 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edgings and a watery hue. Showing impressive intensity the nose offers up aromatics of spicy ripe peaches and dried honey over gun flint, biscuity oak and citrusy nougat notes. Rich and creamy in texture the palate is generously endowed with flavours of ripe peaches, apricots and dried honey which are underpinned by gun flint infusions, biscuity oak and spice. Finishes dry with excellent freshness. Medium to long conclusion of ripe white peaches, dried honey, gun flint biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and spice.
