Barrel fermented in new and 1 year old French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and white peaches are tinged with nuances of dried honey, grapefruit and gun flint. There’s also a faint hint of cashew evident. Medium weighted with plenty of freshness and a vibrant mouthfeel, flavours of nectarines, dried honey and subtle grapefruit overlay some gun flint characters and mineral. Finishes with a crisp bite of acidity and an aftertaste of nectarines, dried honey, subtle grapefruit, gun flint, traces of cashew and mineral infusions.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc 13%

Other Reviews....
The soaring intensity and precision of the wine obliterates any comment about the oak. It is one of those uncommon chardonnays that demands you give it time, the more the merrier. Grapefruit is the masthead, but it gathers around it a suite of flavours that keep its energy and drive on track. Drink by 2034.
