2016 Wagner Stempel Gutswein Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge to the edgings and a watery hue. Ripe lime and crunchy red apple aromas combine with a faint whiff of honeysuckle over hints of mandarin and flinty mineral. A fullish textural feel is cut through by racy flinty, mineral infused acidity. Flavours of ripe limes and red apples dominating over subtle honeysuckle and citrusy mineral characters. Dry zesty finish with an aftertaste of ripe limes, apples, light honeysuckle, fresh citrus and flinty mineral.
