2016 Villa Trasqua Chianti Classico

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of red currants tinged with a hint of sour cherries are followed by fresh herb, light earth and spicy cedar notes. Delicious ripe red currant and red cherry fruits have plenty of savoury appeal and are underpinned by vibrant acidity. Ensuing are infusions of fresh herbs, earthy cedar and spice. Dryish, slightly dusty tannins with a medium length conclusion.
