This wine takes its inspiration from the bone dry Rosés of Provence, by adopting the traditional French method of Saignée. Produced from bled off juice of freshly crushed old vine Mataro then barrel fermented and aged for 6 months in well seasoned French oak hogsheads.

Semi translucent crimson rustic red colour with ruby tinged edges. Fragrant ripe red raspberry and strawberry scents emanate from the glass with pomegranate, musk and spice also evident. Deliciously ripe and full in texture with a dry spicy finish the palate features juicy dark cherry, pomegranate and strawberry flavours over some musk and spice with a savoury conclusion. Long supple aftertaste of ripe spicy dark cherries, dark raspberries, pomegranate and a touch of musk.
