2016 Thistledown The Vagabond Old Vine Grenache

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Scents of juicy dark raspberries combine with liquorice, plum and hints of dark cherries followed by subtle spicy dried herb notes. Light to medium weight but powerful, juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry flavours fill the mouth over subtle infusions of dried herbs and vanillin cedar with a spicy finish. Supple mouthfeel and velvety tannins with a long aftertaste of dark raspberries, dark cherries, liquorice, subtle vanillin cedar and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
