2016 Stella Bella Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge to the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated aromas of white peach, citrus and a hint of grapefruit merge with some funky gun flint characters, light biscuit and mineral. Light, elegant and fresh, flavours of nectarine and grapefruit drive the palate over infusions of gun flint, subtle biscuity oak and mineral. Finishes dry with vibrant acidity, although there’s a subtle creaminess to wine too. Aftertaste of nectarines and grapefruit infused with gun flint, light biscuity oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.

Bright straw-green; brimming with life and energy, the fragrant bouquet of citrus and white flowers, the palate intense and very long; the flavours are spun around beacons of white peach and grapefruit, the barrel ferment inputs simply adding complexity. Drink by 2026.
