2016 Sew & Sew Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Fleshy white peach aromas meld into dried honey and funky struck match stick characters followed by citrusy nougat and spice. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe fleshy peaches laced with dried honey and traces of apricot flood the medium bodied palate. Elegant creamy like textural feel with good freshness on the finish. Complexing elements of flinty matchstick, light cashew and spicy nougat also enter the fray. Long conclusion of white peaches, dried honey, flinty matchstick characters, subtle infusions of cashew and spicy nougat.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
