2016 Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz

Sourced from vineyards located in the Grampians and Heathcote. Outstanding inky black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Fragrant aromas of spicy dark plum, blackberry and liquorice overlay smoky vanillin cedar, fresh herb infusions and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied and elegant with a juicy mid palate and structured finish, rich blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours fill the mouth over a background of smoky vanillin cedar and peppered earth. Finishes spicy with slightly dryish but fine grained tannins and youthful acidity providing plenty of structure. Spicy aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, blackberry, lightly smoked vanillin cedar and peppered earth.
