2016 Rockcliffe Third Reef Pinot Noir

Good depth of colour displaying a dark red core and black tinged edges. The nose is quite spicy with ripe dark cherry and dark plum aromas melding into toasty cedar followed by subtle dried herb end notes. Juicy dark cherry and plum flavours with anise overlay toasty oak and spice. Good drive with slightly dryish but otherwise smooth tannins. Lively acidity with an aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, anise, toasty oak and more spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
