2016 Priory Ridge St. Helens Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light rustic red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and winter strawberries have a faint varnishy overtone with earth and spicy dried herb notes also evident. Medium bodied with a plush feel, dark cherry and anise flavours overlay toasty oak, dried herbs and spice. Bright acidity on the finish with velvety tannins and a moderately powered aftertaste.
