2016 Parker Coonawarra Estate Wild Ferment Barrel Elevage Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach and ripe nectarine draped in dried honey characters overlay citrusy nougat nuances and light cashew. Medium weight with a creamy yet fresh feel the palate possesses mouthfilling peach and ripe nectarine flavours which intermix with dried honey, citrusy nougat and smoky clove elements. Finishes well with good balanced acidity and a medium to long conclusion of white peaches, ripe nectarines, dried honey, citrusy nougat and subtle spicy toast.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
