2016 Oliver's Taranga Vineyards Grenache

Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Lifted dark raspberry, plum and liquorice aromas show excellent intensity with vanillin confectionary and spice notes ensuing. Rich, succulent and possessing fantastic power the palate is flooded with juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and subtle dark chocolate flavours, some confectionary also evident. Finishes spicy. Voluptuous mouthfeel and velvety tannins with a long sumptuous aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, dark plums, liquorice and vanillin confectionary.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
