2016 Norfolk Rise Vineyard Merlot

Deep dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. The nose tosses up aromas of red currant, bay leaf and light mulberries over some dusty cedar and spice. Light to medium weight with a supple mid palate but very dry finish, elegant flavours of mulberries, dusty cedar, subtle bay leaf and spice are present. Slightly chalky, drying tannins concluding with a modest aftertaste of dusty mulberries, bay leaf and spicy cedar.
Cellar 3-4 years.
