2016 Napa Cellars Chardonnay

100% barrel fermented with 26% new French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe peach and subtle baked pear merge with dried honey, citrus and lightly toasted oak notes. Medium to full bodied with a creamed feel to the peach, ripe pear and light honeycomb flavours, it finishes with good freshness. Elements of citrusy nougat, subtlety toasted oak and spice are also evident. Medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
