2016 Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Shiraz

Totally opaque black as night core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Showing good elevation the nose features aromatics of spicy dark plum and liquorice over faint dried clove elements, vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Medium bodied with an elegant, refined feel the palate sports a flavour profile of dark plums, liquorice and spice over lightly smoked vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Very finely grained tannins show seamless integration with the fruit. Good length with an aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, subtlety smoked vanillin cedar and blackpepper.
