Always a controversial offering the Mollydooker wines are real love it or leave it wines. Fans of the style will adore the wines massive fruit weight, voluptuous texture and decadent richness whilst others will be underwhelmed by the over the top style, its prominent oak component and lofty alcohol. For the 2016 vintage Mollydooker bottled over 82,000 cases of wine and invariably they sell out before the next vintage is released.

The boisterously rich and flamboyant Boxer Shiraz is back!

Sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek the wine is barrel fermented and matured in 100% American oak using 42% new, 42% one year old and 16% two year old barrels. Totally opaque midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. An intoxicating combination of liquorice, dark plum, ripe blackberry and subtle dark chocolate aromas waft from the glass with underlying toasty vanillin oak and spice. Rich, indulgent and densely textured, voluptuous flavours of luscious dark plums, blackberries and liquorice coat the palate underscored by toasty vanillin oak and spice. Silken tannins. There’s plenty of power finishing with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, blackberry liqueur and toasty vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
