2016 MacForbes Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with some greenish tinges around the outskirts and a watery hue. Ripe pear and subtle dried honey characters overlay some spicy biscuity oak followed by mineral end notes. Elegantly built with a slight creaminess to the mouthfeel, subtle flavours of white peaches intermesh with a touch of dried honey and biscuity oak over some spice on the dry finish. Aftertaste of spice, delicate white peaches, biscuity oak and cashew.
Cellar 3-4 years.
