2016 Las Vino Jerusalem's Grace Chardonnay

Whole bunch pressed, matured in French oak (20% new) for 10 months with 100% malo. Brilliant pale straw colour with a light tint of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays a complex aromatic profile of delicate white peaches, nectarines and citrus which meld into subtle dried honey notes, struck match stick characters and flinty mineral. Elegant and refined yet creamy in its textural feel the palate sports a concentrated flavour profile of white peaches and nectarines which are married to subtle nuances of dried honey and flinty struck match characters. Some citrusy nougat and mineral following on the fresh finish. Good tension with a long refined aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, subtle dried honey, biscuity oak and flinty struck match stick infusions.
