2016 Kilikanoon Prodigal Grenache

Sourced from 60 year old dry grown vines in Watervale. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Alluring spicy dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice aromas stream from the glass with vanillin confectionary, subtle incense and pepper notes also evident. Medium to full in body, powerful and juicy the palate is flooded with dark raspberry, lightly spiced dark cherries and liquorice over subtle dark chocolate, vanillin confectionary, faint earth and white pepper elements. Plush, silky textural feel with very smooth, seamlessly integrated tannins. Finishes with good freshness and a long aftertaste that’s filled with succulence.
