Vibrant dark red colour with tinges of black around the outskirts and a bright crimson purple hue. The nose delivers a very fragrant bouquet of ripe dark cherries and winter strawberries overlaid by elements of sour cherries, clove, spicy cedar, faint scorched earth and violets. Light in body weight and elegant it has fresh acidity coursing through its veins delivering a combination of sour cherry, winter strawberry and ripe red cherry flavours over a subtle earthiness, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Bright dry finish with fine grained tannins, the acidity slightly tart in comparison to the Daniel Bouland Morgon’s. Aftertaste of sour to red cherries, winter strawberries, light earth, dried herbs and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc. 13%
