2016 Jasper Hill Georgia's Paddock Shiraz

Superbly coloured with an impenetrable inky black core and a deep dark red black hue. Scented dark plum and liquorice aromas laced with fennel are followed by some blackberries, vanillin cedar, light toast and spicy pepper. Rich, powerful and structured, mouthfilling flavours of succulent  blackberries, liquorice and dark plums saturate the palate with underlying vanillin cedar, subtle infusions of fennel, scorched earth and pepper. A firm backbone of chewy tannins impart a muscular yet opulent feel to the fruit. Long powerful aftertaste of luscious blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, vanillin oak, scorched earth and spicy pepper.
