2016 Glaetzer Dixon Mon Pere Shiraz

Deep bright dark red core with black tinged edges and a vibrant crimson purple hue. Fragrant aromas of spicy ripe dark cherries, red plums and liquorice are overlaid by dried clove notes with a touch of meatiness, smoky cedar and blackpepper also evident. Medium bodied with a supple feel and ample rich red fruits, the palate possesses flavours of spicy red plums, dark cherries and a touch of liquorice with underlying dried clove infusions, vanillin cedar and peppered meat characters. Velvet smooth tannins and bright acidity with an aftertaste of spicy red plums, liquorice, ripe red cherries, vanillin cedar, some meatiness and pepper.
