Other Reviews….
Yarra Valley syrah grown on the Sexton and Tarraford vineyards. 30% whole bunches. Open fermented. Large format oak. Bottled by gravity in May so it’s had a few months to settle. Right.
So aromatic. So well flavoured. So generous and yet so firm. We’re onto a very good thing here. Whole bunch characters exert a keen influence but the fruit is entirely up to the task – and then some. Herbage, nuts, spice and a push of black cherry-plum fruit. Almost into blueberry territory here. Velvety and sinewy at once. Excellent push through the finish. Personality and discipline form a bond. Yes. An exciting release.
