2016 Edwards Rd Estate Shiraz

Impenetrable black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aniseed top notes dominate the nose over some choc mint, dark plum and spicy vanillin oak. Medium bodied, lush flavours of dark plum and liquorice fade quickly leaving in their wake some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Slightly dryish but finely grained tannins. Short aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
