2016 Dominique Portet Fontaine Rose

A very savoury, beautifully textured Rose with a delicate freshness that makes for effortless drinking.

This delightfully dry Rose is produced from a combination of Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet grapes. Translucent bright salmon pink colour with a watery hue. Subtle rose petal notes are followed by aromas of red cherries and raspberries with a hint of musk and wet stone elements also present. The palate has a beautiful soft rounded pebble stone like textural feel with flavours of delicately spiced red cherries and raspberries laced with subtle musk prevalent over delicate stony tones. Clean dry finish with a deliciously moreish aftertaste of spiced red cherries, raspberries, musk and wet stone.
