2016 Domaine Blain Brouilly

Deep bright dark red core with a light purple tinged red hue. Fragrantly scented nose with aromas of violets intermixing with ripe red cherries, hints of sour cherries, subtle clove, earthy incense characters and spicy herbs. Light in weight with a fresh, elegant feel, the palate dishes up flavours of red and sour cherries infused with fresh herbs over subtle infusions of incense and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins and crunchy acidity. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste.
