2016 Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

A Marlborough Classic with an intriguing twist

Brilliant very pale straw water like colour with a tinge of green around the outskirts. Showing good intensity the nose is greeted with a mixture of unripe and ripe passionfruit scents followed by some grapefruit and citrus with grassy asparagus end notes. The palate has an intriguing combination of different flavours that add complexity and sets it apart from many of its Marlborough counterparts. Concentrated flavours of passionfruit and grapefruit are interlaced with citrus, grassy asparagus infusions and a hint of spicy capsicum on the crisp lengthy finish. Long aftertaste of passionfruit, grapefruit, citrus, grassy asparagus and faint capsicum.
