2016 Dexter Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark cherry red colour with a light red hue. Delicately perfumed aromas of ripe red cherries and strawberries are overlaid by violets with subtle anise, faint earth and spicy cedar following on. Light and elegant across the palate yet with good richness and power, savoury flavours of ripe red and dark cherries, strawberries and subtle anise overlay some meatiness and spicy cedar. Bright finish with very fine grained tannins. Excellent length with a long aftertaste of red and dark cherries, strawberries, subtle anise infusions and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
