2016 Devil's Cave Vineyard Heathcote Shiraz

Matured in French oak barrels. Impenetrable black dark purple colour with a deep very dark purple hue. Pronounced blackberry, liquorice, plum and blueberry aromas mingle with hints of vanilla and spice. Medium to full bodied with a fleshy feel the palate is filled with rich juicy plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours which hover over a back drop of vanillin cedar and spicy pepper. Finishes fresh with bright acidity, slightly chalky tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
