2016 De Iuliis Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a light greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Scented white peach and tropical fruit aromas meld into some dried honey followed by citrusy nougat and a hint of spice. Light to medium weight with good mid palate fruit, flavours of white peaches, subtle tropical fruits and citrus are featured over traces of mineral on the dry finish. Despite the freshness of the acidity there’s a faint creaminess to the mouthfeel. Aftertaste of citrus, tropical fruits, white peaches and a subtle minerality.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
