2016 De Grendel Opdie Berg Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe peach, dried honey, butterscotch and citrusy nougat aromas overlay toasty oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with a rich, creamy mid palate feel that features ripe peach, honeycomb and butterscotch flavours over nougat and a burst of citrus freshness. Finishes dry with some lingering toasty oak and spice elements on the long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
