Over recent years the Dalrymple Pinot Noir has taken significant steps forward both in terms of quality and consistency, so much so that it is now becoming difficult to procure on a regular basis.

Fruit was sourced from Dalrymple’s own vineyard at Pipers River and a grower in the Upper Derwent Valley. Each of these sites making its own unique contribution to the final blend with maturation taking place in French oak barriques.

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright crimson hue. Fragrant aromas of violets, ripe dark cherries and strawberries blossom from the glass pursued by light spicy cedar and dried herb end notes. Finishes fresh with very finely grained tannins perfectly integrated with the wines supple mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of ripe red and dark cherries, strawberries, subtle anise and spicy cedar.
