2016 Corofin Cowley Family Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of violets intermix with ripe cherries, strawberries, plum and subtle anise over a light meatiness and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight and rich yet elegant the palate features generous spicy dark cherry, strawberry and anise flavours followed by subtle forest floor and spicy cedar characters. Excellent power wave. Beautifully integrated finely grained tannins and balanced acidity with a long savoury conclusion of spicy dark cherries, strawberries, light anise, forest floor and spicy cedar.
