2016 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Intense herbaceous gooseberry and passionfruit aromas rise from the glass followed by some lime and green apple with light grassy asparagus end notes. The palate is equally impressive with concentrated herbaceous gooseberry flavours intermingling with green apple and lime over a back drop of subtle passionfruit and some grassiness with a long dry minerally finish. Crisp refreshing acidity with an aftertaste of herbaceous gooseberries, citrus, light passionfruit, green apple, grassy asparagus characters and mineral.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
