2016 Buckshot Vineyard Shiraz

Superb colour displaying an impenetrable black purple core with a deep bright dark purple hue. The nose is quite fragrant, scented with blackberry, plum and liquorice aromas with a whiff of blueberry also chiming in. Spicy vanillin cedar, light earth and confectionary notes follow on. Featuring more blue than black fruits the medium bodied palate has a sense of vibrancy to it with ripe blueberry, plum and liquorice flavours to the fore over a back drop of vanillin cedar and spice. Bright, fresh acidity and velvety tannins with an aftertaste of ripe blueberries, plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
