2016 Blicks Lane Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant pale straw colour with tinges of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Zesty passionfruit and citrus aromas lead the charge on the nose followed by some green apple with a herbaceous grassy overlay. Ripe gooseberry, citrus and green apple flavours fill the palate with infusions of fresh asparagus and herbaceous grassy characters also making their presence felt. Good crisp acidity on the finish showing excellent length and concluding with a long herbaceous gooseberry, citrus and grassy asparagus aftertaste. A great value savvy.
