2016 Ben Potts Fiddle's Block Shiraz

Fruit was sourced from 65 year old vines. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose offers up aromas of black cherries, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak over some earth and spice. Bold black cherry, liquorice and blackberry flavours fill the richly textured palate with toasty vanillin oak, earth and spicy pepper characters ensuing. Firmish tannins give the wine structure and impart a chewy feel to the wines texture. Long spicy black cherry, liquorice, blackberry, toasty oak and scorched earth aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
