2016 Bay of Fires Pinot Noir

The bright dark red core shows good depth, surrounded by black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. Sailing from the glass are perfumed scents of violets, dark cherries, ripe strawberries and hints of anise which overlay forest floor, some meatiness and spicy cedar notes. Delicious rich ripe cherry and strawberry flavours decorate the palate with a refined suppleness delivering Pinot Noir’s classic power without weight trait. Elements of anise, forest floor, spicy cedar, a touch of meatiness and light fresh herbs all chime in to add complexity. Magnificent intensity and length, the fine tannins seamlessly integrated with the fruit. Exceptionally long ripe cherry, strawberry, subtle anise, forest floor, meaty herb and spicy cedar aftertaste.
