Semi translucent bright red colour with a light red hue. Fragrant sappy sour cherry aromas intermingle with violets, red cherries, a light meatiness, fresh herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Very supple and long in the mouth but light in body flavours of ripe red and sour cherries as well as winter strawberries fan out across the palate showing excellent power. Complexing elements of fresh herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar ensue. Bright finish with silky smooth tannins. Shows excellent intensity and concludes with a lengthy aftertaste of ripe red cherries intermixed with traces of sour cherries and strawberries, infusions of herbs, forest floor and subtle spicy cedar.

Other Reviews....
This takes the Crown Prince onto another level, wondrously complex, yet gleaming with the lustrous beauty of old sterling silver - like Jacobean, perhaps. The waves of fruits flow effortlessly across your palate, predominantly red, but with some purple, and all the architectural requirements have been subtly built behind the veil of fruit. Drink by 2041.
