2016 Andre Delorme Givry 1er Cru Les Combes

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a vibrant red hue. Fragrant violet laced ripe red cherry, raspberry and strawberry aromas emanate from the glass followed by subtle anise and spice. Light and fruity the palate sees ripe strawberry and raspberry flavours prevalent over faint earth, fragrant herb infusions and spice. Excellent fruit purity, intensity and length but a touch simple at this early stage of development. Finishes with bright fresh acidity, seamlessly integrated tannins and a long deliciously fruity aftertaste.
