2015 Yalumba The Cigar Cabernet Sauvignon

Black as night core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant aromas intermix with hints of liquorice and a minty bay leaf like overlay. Also evident are cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice. Medium to full bodied rich blackcurrant flavours fill the mouth with echoes of bay leaf, cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice in the background. Ripe chewy tannins provide a solid backbone. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant fruit, subtle infusions of bay leaf, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs.
